Ms Tapuwa Prudence Mazanhi   | Chief Finance Officer

Tapuwa was appointed Chief Finance Officer of the group effective 1 January 2021. She previously held the position of Head Risk and Assurance, which she held since joining Cimas on 1 August 2019.  

Tapuwa is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BCom (Accounting) degree from Rhodes University and a BCompt (Honors) (CTA) from UNISA. She completed her articles of clerkship with Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants (South Africa) prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (Zimbabwe) in 2012.  

She has experience in finance, financial reporting, strategy formulation, audit, risk management and governance spanning across various industries in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the United States of America.  

Tapuwa is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe’s Accounting Procedures Committee and Mashonaland Society Committee.
