Muchaneta is a Chartered Accountant by profession. She is the current Finance Director for African Distillers. She began her career in 1993 at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Supervisor before joining Natbrew in 1997 as the Financial

Accountant. In 1999 she was promoted to the position of Financial Controller for the Manufacturing Division, a position she held until 2003 when she was appointed

Financial Manager for the Lagers and Carbonated Soft Drinks Division. In 2005 she was appointed Finance Executive and promoted in 2009 to the position of Finance and Administration Executive – Operations Northern Region for Delta Corporation.
